Prayer for a Parish on Mission

Dear God,

We welcome you into our home and hearts.

We open our lives to you and to one another.

We worship you with love and gratitude.

May our songs, prayers, and actions 

glorify you today and always.

Teach us to walk in your truth and kindness.

May we learn from your spirit and from one another,

to become more like Christ in all we do.

Help us serve each other and those in need.

May our hands be ready to help, our feet willing to go,

and our hearts eager to give.

Let our family be known by our love.
